Project Overview 

Hungry and do not want to cook? Yanga gets you food from nearby restaurants in under a minute. No browsing through hundreds of options. Just a few items, clear prices, and add ons right there. You tap what you want, add extra cheese if you like, and pay. The restaurant gets your order instantly.

The Challenge

  • Add ons were hidden behind two clicks. Users could not see them easily. No confirmation screen after payment. Users were unsure if order went through. Reordering past meals required typing everything again. Delivery status was not shown anywhere.

Our Solution

  • Moved add ons right next to each item. One tap to customize. Show restaurant preparation status (preparing, ready, picked up) Built a one tap reorder button from order history. Placed live delivery tracking on the home screen after order.
Client wireframe showed only food names and prices. We added pictures, made prices bigger, and put add ons directly under each item. Now when you open Yanga you see Lavash rolls with a clear twenty five dollar price. Below that small buttons for extra cheese or sauce. You tap what you want, hit order, and the next screen says thanks for your order. Three screens from hungry to done.
The app features a “Thanks for Order!” confirmation screen that clearly shows payment received status. Users receive real time updates on their delivery, along with the ability to add more items before the order is prepared. This transparent communication builds trust and encourages repeat orders.
The add ons sit right under the food name. You do not click to a new page. You just tap and they are added. Past orders live in a small section at the bottom of the home screen. You see your last three orders. Tap any one and it goes straight to checkout.
Delivery tracking shows a little car moving on a map. You see when the driver picks up your food and when they turn onto your street. Payment works with cards and digital wallets. No need to type your address every time. The app remembers it from your first order.
