Project Overview

Driving for Uber or DoorDash? You already know taxes are a headache. GigTaxPro watches your earnings while you drive. It counts every mile automatically. It tells you how much to save for taxes. And it gives you one useful tip each month based on what you actually earned. Before we wrote a single line of code, we first created complete user journeys for different types of gig workers. A full time Uber driver has different needs than someone who drives only on weekends. We mapped out every screen, every tap, and every decision point. Then we designed the app based on those flows.

The Challenge

  • No single app existed that showed total earnings from Uber and DoorDash together Gig workers had to manually track miles on paper or spreadsheets Most drivers did not know how much of their income should go to taxes Tax deduction rules for gig work are confusing. Drivers needed simple guidance

Our Solution

  • Built a unified dashboard showing total earnings from Uber and DoorDash together Created automatic background mileage tracking. No buttons to press. Added a tax wallet that calculates and sets aside the right percentage automatically Integrated AI that gives one simple tax tip each month based on actual driving
Open GigTaxPro. The first thing you see is your total earned in big bold numbers. Below that Uber shows what you made. DoorDash shows what you made. The AI assistant has one sentence for you. All the tax saving tips for you and then something like one hundred twenty dollars saved this month. Keep scrolling and you see mileage tracking with one hundred thirty three dollars this week.
The AI does not spam you with notifications. Once a month it gives you one tip. That tip is different for everyone based on their driving patterns. Mileage tracking starts the first time you drive after installing the app. You never turn it on or off. It just works.
Tax wallet is a separate place inside the app. You tell it what percentage to save. Every time you earn money that percentage moves to the tax wallet automatically. Waitlist and referral are on the home screen too. You see your position on the waitlist and your referral code right there to copy.
