Tired of swiping on people who like nothing you like? Datora flips things around. You pick your interests first. Music, travel, hiking, cooking, whatever matters to you. Then the app shows you people who picked the same things. No more awkward conversations that die after hello.

The Challenge

  • Launch a modern, interest-based dating app from scratch Show subscription prices without any fine print Give every user a name that feels like them not a number Finish account setup in less than sixty seconds

Our Solution

  • An interest selector on the very first screen Clear subscription tiers with visible pricing A converted naming system that creates a unique name for each person A sign up flow with just four questions
First screen after you download Datora asks what do you like. Buttons for music, travel, sports, art, food, hiking. You tap three or four. Then it asks for your name and age. Then it gives you a converted name like WandererJames or CreativeAnna. Then it shows the subscription screen. Two prices. Pick one. Done.
The interest selector has twenty options. You pick as many as you want. The app only shows you people who picked at least three of the same ones.
Subscription is month to month. Cancel anytime from the app. No phone calls needed. Profile pictures are hidden until you match with someone based on interests first. Then photos unlock. You already have something to talk about before you see a face.
